Welcome  to Sarah Bennett Golf, which is run exclusively by Sarah Bennett PGA Specialist Coach at Lexden Wood Golf Club in Colchester. Sarah is a highly experienced former Ladies European Tour player of 25 years with a wealth of knowledge.

Her coaching experience has resulted Sarah offering an incredible schedule of Golf Schools for Women and mixed holidays throughout the year.

Sarah’s brainchild in 2010 has resulted in her schools being highly sought after with a mix of European and Long Haul hand picked to ensure her clients receive the best possible experience. Please see the Events page then click on List or access via calendar then click list.

Sarah Bennett has just been awarded the title Golf Monthly Top 50 UK Golf Coaches of 2022 which is a feat she is immensely humbled and is the only golf coach male or female within the County of Essex to receive this coveted title.

Sarah Bennett PGA Specialist Coach held the highly respected role of PGA Captain 2022. She followed in the footsteps of Bernard Gallacher iconic Ryder Cup Captain and player. This is undoubtedly the highest honour achievable within the industry and only the second female ever since 1901. The first appointment was to the late Beverly Lewis who ironically was Sarah’s first Coach and Mentor.

This in addition to an exciting 2022 to the WPGA Cup Captain where her unrivaled playing experience showed in her meticulous preparation. She received numerous compliments from her team many whom she played on Tour with.

Sarah has recently been appointed WPGA Chair commencing the role in 2023 and is passionate about the development of the Women’s game covering all areas.

Sarah still finds time for voluntary charity work which saw her presented with the Toby Sunderland plaque supported by her clients and peers.

Sarah is undoubtedly the most experienced Women Golf Professionals in Essex and WPGA.

Sarah utilises all aspects of her 22 years of Professional experience providing golf lessons to visiting players and members of  Lexden Wood Colchester Essex. She also offers group coaching and team building to numerous companies. The perfect opportunity to form business connections and team build with colleagues in a relaxed environment.

Sarah has recently launched her UK Golf Schools to compliment her overseas golf breaks which have been held in Spain, Portugal and Ireland, operating both Ladies and Mixed golf schools.

She is constantly upgrading her knowledge to offer the very best for her clients and is only one of two Professionals in the county of Essex who hold the sought after Plane truth and TPI L2 certification. Sarah prides herself on her efficiency and customer service and her love of the game to help all players offering one of the structured Women’s golf Coaching  available.
