Sarah Bennett Golf Coaching Weekend

There is something special when a large group of slightly apprehensive golfers arrive for one of my Sarah Bennett Golf Coaching weekends.

The room is mildly quiet after the registration has been completed but the mood changes after the introductions and pairings with groups split for the pre- course coaching and fun competitions.

Before you know everyone is interacting and finding numerous common grounds for attending and arranging meet ups by the end of the day.

This particular weekend broke new barriers for my Women’s Golf Schools in terms of demographics. From the twenty Women who attended t twelve golf clubs were represented with only three non- members which is staggering for me. This has always been a goal of mine since setting up Golfing Girl in 2010 with results far beyond my expectations and still growing.

My Fantastic Weekend at Sarah Bennett Golf Schools – Lingfield Park Golf Club

I was delighted to have signed up to join Sarah Bennett Golf to attend one of her recent Women’s Golf Schools at Lingfield Park Golf Club. I could not have been happier to have taken this step for what was a truly fabulous weekend despite the apprehension of attending as a single golfer.

There were 20 Women in the group, right from the start the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and great fun. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, which made both rounds of golf on Lingfield’s lovely course even more enjoyable.

The one-night stay was perfectly organised — excellent food, seamless arrangements, and just the right mix of golf, relaxation, and social time. Sarah’s superb organisational skills shone through, making the whole event run so smoothly and allowing us as participants to simply enjoy ourselves.

Alongside the two rounds of golf there was the opportunity to attend three group coaching sessions, covering various aspects of the game. Sarah’s trademark enthusiasm and positivity made every session inspiring and fun, everyone left with new skills to take onto the course.

 

 

 

 

Sarah Bennett, our host and Coach, was simply outstanding. As a PGA Fellow Professional, past PGA Captain GB&I in 2022 she brought an incredible wealth of experience, knowledge, and energy to the weekend. Her enthusiasm and ability to encourage and support every golfer, whatever their level, is truly special.

An additional highlight was the Callaway Apparel-sponsored prizes, generously awarded to the winners. It added an exciting edge to the weekend, with the celebrations at the end really capturing the supportive spirit of the group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was a weekend full of golf, learning, laughter, and new friendships. I came away feeling energised and inspired, and I can’t wait to join another Sarah Bennett Golf Schools event in the future.

I won’t have to wait too long as I will be attending one of Sarah’s long-haul Mixed Golf Schools to golfing paradise island of Mauritius in a few weeks’ time.
